Longan, also referred to as Euphoria fruit, is a tonic fruit with a high amount of iron and is a primary blood medicine of Chinese herbalism. In Chinese, longan is literally “dragon’s eyes”, denoting its function of adding radiance to the eyes. It is believed that Longan could also nourish the heart, fight off exhaustion and rejuvenate skin.
